The five questions
Tap any question to expand the answer. If something is still unclear, send your photos — your free estimate covers the rest.
Digital uploads: $29/photo for a Single Photo (1–4 business days), $49/photo for a Small Batch with full reconstruction and black-and-white colorization (2–5 business days), and $39/photo for a Full Box of 10 or more photos on a dedicated queue (7–10 business days).
Mail-in kits: $89 Starter Kit (up to 20 photos scanned, ~2 weeks total), $149 Standard Kit (up to 50 photos, priority queue, ~10 days total), and $249 Full Album (up to 100 photos, premium restoration, fully insured shipping, ~7 days total).
Estimates are always free. Submit your photos and we'll tell you exactly what restoration will cost before you commit to anything. No hidden fees, no surprise upcharges.
Digital turnaround scales by tier: Single Photo is 1–4 business days, Small Batch is 2–5 business days, and Full Box is 7–10 business days.
Mail-in turnaround covers scan + restoration + insured return: Starter Kit ~2 weeks total, Standard Kit ~10 days total, Full Album ~7 days total.
Your free estimate is returned within 1 business day of submission. Send your photos today, hear back by tomorrow, and decide what to restore on your own timeline.
Digital uploads: originals stay with you. We work on the file you uploaded, so the photo in your hand never leaves your hand. You will receive restored digital files by email and through your portal.
Mail-in: your originals are returned insured. We scan every photo at high resolution, perform any restoration you approve, and ship everything back to you — originals and files together — with full-value coverage. Ship insured + tracked on your way in; we ship insured on the way back.
Digital uploads accept JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and TIFF files up to 25 MB each, with up to 10 photos per submission. If your scan is larger, contact us before uploading and we'll accommodate.
Mail-in physical photo formats include loose prints, whole photo albums, slides, and negatives. Tape loose prints to card stock so they don't shift in transit; use acid-free tissue between photos so they don't stick. Our mail-in kits accept up to 20 / 50 / 100 photos depending on tier.
Every restoration is hand-retouched by a professional — not AI automation. Depending on your photos, that includes tear and scratch repair, color correction, full reconstruction of missing detail (faces, edges, backgrounds), and black-and-white colorization. Faded tones are restored to their original look, water and smoke damage is rebuilt, and full-album projects carry the same hand treatment across every photo.
Whether you pay for one photo or a full box, the same photographer handles every image — and you approve the work before final delivery.
